I watched a group of barely-costumed teens running through the neighborhood tonight. They got to a house where nobody was home except a bowl of candy. “The bowl is FULL!” one shouted. “The sign says ‘Take Two,’” said another. They then proceeded to carefully select two each.

@vindugoel @nytimes Currently there is a problem with existing and new subscription due to the recurring nature of the subscription, which has been blocked pursuant to RBI guidelines. Till the issue is resolved, is there a way to pay a month at a time, (or the full annual subs)as a one off payment.

@Birottam @LangaMahesh The suspension applies to most visas, including tourist, business and student visas. If you feel you really need to come to India before April 15, you can apply at your local mission for a new visa and seek an exemption.

@vindugoel @LangaMahesh Does this only apply for tourist visa? It says employment and project visas are exempted. I am not sure but seems tourist and business visa are excluded but I dunno what is a project visa

@BhaktMomo Indian nationals should be fine to re-enter India. No mandatory quarantine for arrival from Saudi Arabia at this point.

@dhruvabhat @EmergingRoy If you're already in India, you are OK. But if you are outside India, visas already granted are suspended until April 15. They are enforcing this at the point of departure.

@vindugoel @EmergingRoy Do we have *any* information at all on how this affects people who are already in the country on a tourist visa?
