María José and I are blown away by this piece. It captures the excitement of the Jardín Oculto project, and how fun and rewarding it is working with these vines and making the wines. Cannot thank @JancisRobinson enough, and for the feedback on our wines.

The overnight sleeper bus from Potosí to Tarija is an hour or so from its destination. Our visit on Friday to jardinoculto.com/english inspired by @vinosity finally seems real. Looking forward to Tarija, too.

When you randomly bump into your nephew from Australia, that you haven't seen in eight years, at Santa Cruz airport in Bolivia. I had just arrived from the UK, and he was catching a domestic flight to Riberalta.

@JoseGrapes @CMMwine @JancisRobinson Yokich only have Moscatel in their vineyard. They buy the other varieties. We have those three, and others at San Roque (which we own) Also the Yokich vineyard is not at 2450m asl.

Here is my work-in-progress list of the world’s highest vineyards (in meters asl) starting with Switzerland (1090m). Does anybody have documented evidence of corrections or additions?
