(Couldn’t finish A Little Life by the same author either - it was too harrowing. She certainly enjoys writing about disturbing topics …)

The UK has a deep state and it's the planning system. If you can't build dense housing in the North London Business Park then you've made it illegal to build dense housing. London has the worst housing crisis in the world. The current planning system should be utterly abolished
