Forza Horizon 6 is currently being heavily review-bombed on Steam, mostly by players using Simplified Chinese.
The game has a “Mixed” overall rating due to around 6,800 negative Chinese-language reviews, while reviews in other languages are mostly “Very Positive” or even “Overwhelmingly Positive.”
Chinese players are mainly upset for two reasons:
> The game is set in Japan, which is a sensitive topic because of long-running historical and political tensions between China and Japan.
> The Simplified Chinese translation is reportedly very poor. Players say even basic words like “left,” “right,” and “yes” are translated incorrectly.
Another reason this situation became so visible is how Steam works in China. Because of the Great Firewall, many Chinese players cannot easily access official forums or communicate directly with developers.
Similar review-bombing campaigns have happened with other games before.

@danramblesand @riotgames You are tampering with software illegally that is protected by a company.
English

@riotgames Doesn't matter. You're modifying and tampering with communication networks and systems.
I hope the federal government breaks you all the way up to the colon.
English

Well, that escalated quickly.
There’s been a wave of claims by cheaters about Vanguard “bricking” their PCs, so let’s clear that up: Vanguard does not damage hardware or disable your devices.
The photo we posted is a picture of cheat hardware devices that are sold explicitly for cheating in VALORANT (not normal PCs or PC components). Through our latest updates, Vanguard now makes those devices worthless for VAL, but does not in any way brick PCs or PC components or PC software.
Our latest update enforces standard platform security features, like the Input-Output Memory Management Unit (IOMMU), on accounts identified as using Direct Memory Access (DMA) cheating devices. These protections are already part of modern systems and when enabled, they block DMA cheat devices (such as those shown in the photo) from accessing memory in downstream applications, like our games.
If a cheat setup continues attempting to cheat after those protections are enabled, the system may generate hardware faults or instability. This is expected behavior under IOMMU when attempts are made to read protected memory.
Disabling IOMMU allows the cheat device to function again, but IOMMU will still be required to play our games. This means the cheat device won’t work with our games, but your PC isn’t “bricked.” We would not, and cannot, impact your PC’s functionality in any other fashion.
This functionality only applies to systems attempting to use DMA cheat devices, and players who are not using DMA-based cheat setups are not affected.
We’ll keep investing in anti-cheat to protect competitive integrity, and we’ll keep being as transparent as possible about how those systems work.

@tmo_melonmaster @Pirat_Nation He literally did say this politely -- multiple times
It's not his fault that players don't know how to read and still expect things to be different from what they are

Subnautica 2 devs say "go play Sons of the Forest" if you don't like its lack of violence.
The game focuses on underwater exploration, and you cannot kill most creatures.
On the official Discord, one player asked why killing is impossible in SN2 as it makes no sense. Level designer Artyom O’Rielly replied,
“This is not a killing game, so go play Sons of the Forest if you want to kill.” Another developer said, “The team discusses this a lot inside the studio and may let players catch small fish for food, but large creatures will stay safe so the game feels right.”
This idea comes from the first Subnautica, as the team wants players to discover things, feel wonder, and live with ocean life instead of fighting it.
A fan-made mod already lets players kill creatures, and the studio is reading all feedback. It plans to add better ways to scare off creatures but will not add weapons.
Early access is expected to last up to 3 years.

@EvasoreMaltese @tmo_melonmaster @Pirat_Nation There is a way to say it, not be hostile and a dick about it. This is not honesty its honesty wrapped up in being a dick.
Like the original commenter said "this game is more focused on exploration than hunting and killing creatures"
Would've been enough.
English

@tmo_melonmaster @Pirat_Nation They're actually being very honest and upfront. They're saying "This is not a game where you hunt and kill, if you expect that type of gameplay you'll be disappointed"
I prefer devs being upfront rather than trying to string along people with empty words and promises
English

Subnautica 2 is a pacifist ideology woven into a game.
Players have noticed you cannot defend yourself against attacking fish. Not even in self defense. Only passive means are available.
This was by design. You can't kill anything because the devs feel it would support gun violence and aspects of colonialism:
"Subnautica is one vote towards a world with less guns. A reminder that there is another way forward."
"We want people to feel like they're learning to adapt to the world, rather than being a conqueror or dominator."
"We aren't a killing game. Go play Sons of the Forest or something if you want to kill."
The anti-violence stance got stronger from Subnautica 1 -> 2, which now has a complete "no kill" policy even when the fish can still kill *you*.

English

@varzecs @Pirat_Nation Go ahead and eat this corpo slop, i ll be pirating and advocating for stop killing games
English

@Pirat_Nation This is the dumbest drama. These terms are very standard, and most games got the exact same ones, like GTA 5 and any game on steam. People love to be miserable and complain.
English

Subnautica 2's Steam EULA is getting huge backlash.
On first launch, players must accept a detailed End User License Agreement, and players are worried after read them
>The agreement grants a license to play the game rather than transferring ownership.
>It includes restrictions on streaming, screenshots, recordings, and certain types of content creation or monetization, often requiring disclaimers.
>The publisher retains the right to revoke access for specified reasons.
>Terms may be updated unilaterally, with users expected to review changes.
>The agreement covers data collection practices involving personal and device information.
>It addresses ownership of player-created content, modifications, and related materials.
>Additional clauses address liability limits, dispute resolution through arbitration in California, and prohibitions on certain software tools, VPN use, and other activities.
The game has achieved strong reception overall, with Very Positive Steam reviews and high concurrent player counts. Unknown Worlds Entertainment has noted that it is reviewing player feedback on the EULA.
Some players have requested refunds after reading the EULA, while others just say the terms are normal with industry standards.

English

@Pirat_Nation Hence pirating it, im sorry normies yall being fucked by the industry
English

@TimeLineWatchr @Grummz Nah he only bans obnoxious dumb people, but people with actual opinions and valid responses are welcome.

Elliot Page will reportedly NOT play Achilles in THE ODYSSEY, but Elpenor, the youngest crew member on Odysseus’ ship. The controversy is already over.

Elliot Page is expected to play Elpenor, the youngest crew member on Odysseus’ ship in THE ODYSSEY, not Achilles.

@Internet3njoyer @Pirat_Nation We found the corporate retard, happy that they are stealing your money.

@Pirat_Nation Not to be That GUY. BUT. It’s thier game. They get to set the terms.
When people on their own start making games. Then we can talk.
You dont get an update to your fruit. Once they go bad. They go bad.

The video game industry is lobbying against Stop Killing Games
California is considering a new law called AB 1921, also known as the Protect Our Games Act.
If passed, the bill would apply to paid digital games sold after January 1, 2027.
It requires that if a company shuts down the online services needed to play the game normally, it must give players 60 days' notice and either release a patch so the game can still be played or offer buyers a full refund.
The bill does not require companies to keep servers running forever. It simply prevents them from making a game unplayable without warning or a solution for those who already paid for it.
The Entertainment Software Association, the main group representing video game companies in the United States, is lobbying against the bill.
Their arguments are basically the usual ones:
>games are licensed, not owned
>online services are complicated
>third-party licenses expire
>security risks exist
>this could be hard or expensive to enforce
Supporters of the bill, including the Stop Killing Games campaign, say this is basic customer protection because when you buy a game, it should not suddenly stop working with no remedy.
The bill gives companies clear options and applies only to future games. A hearing is scheduled for this Thursday in the California Assembly Appropriations Committee.
If you are part of an organization in the United States, especially in California, you can submit a letter of support to the committee. This is an important step for better rights for players who buy digital games.

@Pixel306828168 @Kahamsha Its not though, its about the deeds and the importance of the person too. God Usopp had higher bounty than Sanji, but mainly because Usopp was the main reason Doflamingo's plans went to shit.

It’s 2026 and people still treat Bounties as a form of powerscaling

Zoro & Sanji bounties are still way lower than Dorry & Brogy, the gap is crazy 😭
