Plus exposure to global leaders (FAANG + others) growing in developed & emerging markets. Also can invest in companies innovating in emerging areas such as robotics, AI, clean energy etc.

@BabbarMridul @iRadhikaGupta Even if you get 9-10%(safest option) from US equities, it will be equal to 12-13% in India due to depreciation of Rupee. Plus global exposure is always nice. See chart of Parag Parikh Flexicap and other Indian Flexicap funds. See protection from volatility.

@warikoo Diversification is very important - across industries, risk profiles and asset classes AND geographies. India is <3% of global market cap - investing globally will insulate you from India specific risks. Plus, can give currency hedge, given historical rupee depreciation.

Invest across different risk profiles, if you care about diversifying. Buy stocks across industries. Invest in smallcases/mutual funds with different risk profiles Buy (digital) gold

Saw reports of $45B yearly volumes in Apr 20, and 49 million accounts in Sep 20. Fundamentally different revenue model though.
