Two of the biggest names in TradFi just picked their on-chain trading partners. ▫️ @RobinhoodApp officially picked @Lighter_xyz as its perpetuals trading partner, bringing perps and tokenized stocks directly into the Robinhood Wallet. ▫️ @eToro made a strategic investment in @ExtendedApp, partnering to expand on-chain access to global financial markets. What makes it even more interesting is that both announcements were dropped back-to-back😅 Crypto is no longer building in isolation, and TradFi is no longer just watching. Personally, I’m loving that these teams and others are pushing each other to ship quality products and features and deliver more value to users. The space is better for it. The endgame is a 24/7, on-chain global financial market where every asset class trades on shared liquidity rails, accessible to both traditional and crypto-native users. That would put my current allocation somewhere between $32,000 and $81,000. It almost sounds too good to be true, but those are simply the numbers based on my estimated FDV and the total points distributed. Lately, I've reduced my exposure to perp DEXs because I've moved a significant portion of my capital into DeFi protocols and spot BTC purchases. Hot take: I'd farm @risextrade 10 times before depositing into @bulktrade Here's why: Bulk has been building for over 2 years and we're still in a pre-deposit phase 🫠 • No live product. • No public thrid party audit • Announces no private deals but they have raised money from institutions: $8M seed (Robot Ventures + 6MV lead, Wintermute Ventures participating) • Yet deposits and referrals are already being heavily incentivized (what do you mean someone has already 34k points with no deposits?) • Not doing anything specially innovative beside an "advanced portfolio margin" That reminds me a bit too much of Cascade. Meanwhile RiseX already has: • A working mainnet • $2B traded in just 60 days • Fully on-chain orderbooks • Real DeFi composability • CEX-like execution • Trading competitions • Backing from names like @VitalikButerin , @StaniKulechov and @sandeepnailwal The biggest difference for me isn't the points. It's that RiseX is actually trying to push perp DEXs forward. Synchronous composability is something genuinely new. Stake assets, earn yield, use them as collateral and trade, all in the same block. That's innovation. Could Bulk end up being great? Sure. But I'd rather farm execution than promises. That's why I'm sticking with RiseX.
