We’ve tried looking but can’t seem to find the info online @CityofEdmonton - Lime scooters are set to 20 km/h along the Whyte Ave slow zone, which is seriously fast given the number of pedestrian users on our sidewalks. Is this the correct speed?

I appreciate banks and credit card companies having good security, but my @ServusCU Mastercard has once again been locked b/c apparently Lacombe counts as a fraudulent place to make purchases. This is beyond ridiculous.

My marvellous neighbour Margaret turns 86 today! 🎉 She’s truly one of the coolest, funniest, most creative humans around, and I’m honoured to call her a friend. Hope you’ll join me in wishing Margaret the happiest of birthdays! 💜💜💜

@laurby @BemusedBunny Which is all kind of irrelevant in a city like Edmonton because if parking is pretty much eliminated you starve those businesses, you limit the number of people that can access those services, you suffocate the lifeblood of what exists there and you force people to sterile malls.

@McOilface39 Our shop was packed this weekend. It’s mid-February. Judging by the bags people were carrying, many had walked the length of the avenue. Walking a block or two off Whyte to park won’t be a deterrent to most. And accessible parking is included in the proposal.

@laurby The pilot of this in 2021 was positive for area businesses, and we heard from customers and community alike that they enjoyed the atmosphere it created. We encourage the city to pursue this plan.
