Yesterday, #Wipro had called candidates for a walk-in interview. They had emailed many people, and around 2,000 candidates showed up. The reporting time was given till 12:30 PM, but the interviews started after 3 PM. After collecting so many CVs, they just said, "We will call you." But from what I heard, they probably won't even call anyone. If they cannot provide jobs to so many people, then why do they open such huge hiring drives? They should keep limited seats instead of making people stand for hours in such extreme heat. The whole situation was really disappointing and badly managed by Wipro.

My company replaced our junior devs with ChatGPT. AI is the future, they said. 2 months later. Prod is on fire daily. No one knows how to fix it. The AI just hallucinates answers. They asked me to train the AI. I asked for a raise. They said budget is tight. Same budget that paid for the AI subscription. I stopped fixing prod. Now I just watch it burn. From home. With my camera off

When you are given a C++ or Java codebase in an enterprise/company environment, without knowing OOPs, you honestly cannot do much.
