Easy to say when your company is valued at $18 billion and your product is the one replacing them. What about Sarah in data entry in Columbus who just found out her role was automated in a company-wide email at 6 AM? She has two kids and a car payment. She is not starting a business. What about Marcus in logistics in Memphis who got a calendar invite titled "Workforce Update" and walked out of a Zoom call without a job? He is not building a startup. He is updating his resume for the third time in two years. 330,000 people lost their jobs in Q1 2026. 3,600 per day. 55% of the companies that cut them cited AI as the reason.
