If you wanted to fix dispute resolution, you would start with one question. What would have to be true for an adjudicator to take a case seriously? 1. They would have to be selected at random, so neither party can lobby them. 2. They would have to risk something real, so laziness costs them. 3. They would have to be paid for attention, not for outcome, so neither side can buy the verdict. 4. And the system would have to resolve fast enough that the dispute is still relevant when the answer arrives. Random. Staked. Outcome-agnostic. Fast. No platform has all four. Most have none.
