Office of Development Commissioner (MSME)
During the Inter-Ministerial Briefing on Recent Developments in West Asia, Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME, shared an update on the current status of MSMEs in India and key initiatives undertaken by the Government of India. ➡️The Ministry is conducting stakeholder consultations regularly with MSME associations at the central, state and sub-state levels. All field offices of the Ministry of MSME are constantly in touch with micro, small, and medium enterprises. ➡️Over 20 lakh MSMEs were newly registered on the Udyam portal in February–March, taking the total number of registered units to over 8 crore. Credit support remains strong, with outstanding lending to MSMEs exceeding ₹36.7 lakh crore and annual credit growth at 23.5%. ➡️The collateral-free lending limit has been doubled from ₹10 lakh to ₹20 lakh for micro and small enterprises, effective from 1 April 2026. ➡️Credit guarantee support also remained robust, with over 5.27 lakh guarantees worth ₹92,000 crore provided in February–March. ➡️On liquidity support, the TReDS platform has seen significant growth in invoice discounting, rising from ₹4,300 crore in 2022 to over ₹7 lakh crore currently, including ₹85,000 crore in February–March alone. The Ministry continues to engage with all stakeholders and believes in a whole-of-government approach. The situation is being closely monitored and the Ministry of MSME remains committed to supporting micro, small and medium enterprises in India, Dr. Rajneesh said. #Msme #Entrepreneur #Innovation #Development #Employment #Empowerment #Technology #skilldevelopment #training @jitanrmanjhi @ShobhaBJP @minmsme @PIB_India @PIBIndiaMSME @CGTMSEOfficial @NSICLTD @scsthub @kvicindia @IndianCoir

#Mumbai city was so keen to make me comfortable and at home from day one, that she insisted that I experience the 1990s everyday. #Churchgate station and platforms are frozen in time, the streets of South Mumbai seem to have seen no change (construction quality must have been very good back then),the cablewallah(incldg good ol Hathway!) still provides a selection of channels you may or may not care for, and the Hindi movies are mostly random AjayDevgan(that's how he spelt his name back then)/#SalmanKhan/#BobbyDeol starrers from the 90s. I even found some vintage wooden cupboards and third generation rats hidden in certain nooks and crannies of my office building(got the cupboards cleared and deprived the poor rats of hiding spaces, but that's another story:)). To complete my experience, when the regulator knob of my LPG gas cylinder broke two nights ago,I had to patiently wait for 24 hours* for the Gods of the neighborhood gas agency to provide a replacement. Coz only they are authorized to replace your regulator(there's no piped gas supply yet in my locality). Bilkul aisa lag raha hai jaise I am back in Mumbai of 1994😜 #lpgcylinders #nostalgia #kitchentales #noteanolife #chai #tealovers #mornings *(To some one used to brewing a perfect cup of tea in the morning, having no tea is मौत के बराबर. That happened to me yesterday morning. Tea made in a microwave oven tastes, to quote the late Dame #MaggieSmith, like lukewarm dog piss🤮 I can order food from outside, but ordering tea or coffee from outside is an exercise in futility. It never tastes the same when you reheat it at home.I feel like getting a फूल माला and putting it around the neck of my LPG cylinder right now coz I just had a perfect cup of tea 😇)

A historic decision by the Modi Government to build world-class industrial parks! The Government under PM @NarendraModi ji’s leadership has approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna (BHAVYA) with an allocation of ₹33,660 crore to develop 100 investment-ready plug-and-play industrial parks across the country. BHAVYA is a Central Sector Scheme built on key pillars of: - Building next-generation industrial infrastructure - Boosting ease of doing business through reforms & plug-and-play ecosystems - Creating future-ready, sustainable & efficient industrial parks - Driving investment, employment & stronger industrial ecosystems Under the scheme, industrial parks ranging from 100 to 1000 acres (25 acre for Northeast and hilly regions) will be developed, with the Central Government providing financial support of up to ₹1 crore per acre. By enabling cluster-based development and co-location of industries, suppliers and support services, BHAVYA will strengthen supply chains, reduce costs and foster vibrant industrial ecosystems across regions. BHAVYA marks a significant step towards strengthening domestic manufacturing, enhancing India’s global manufacturing competitiveness and advancing the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. 📖 pib.gov.in/PressReleasePa…

Israeli General casually drops: "We will sell Air Defence systems to the whole world." Journalist: "But you don’t even have a production line ready?" Israeli General: "We have 1.4 billion Indians to work for us." 🤯 Bro just admitted what the whole world already knows: India is becoming the global manufacturing beast for high-tech defence gear. From Akash to BrahMos to now powering Israeli air defence lines – our engineers, factories, and talent are the backbone. This isn’t outsourcing. This is India rising as the weapons manufacturing powerhouse the world needs. Make in India → Sell to World. Bharat First. From importer to exporter to global supplier. We’re not just growing – we’re dominating. #Israel
