Why do you learn English? Why do you learn any language at all? To better communicate with people who don't know your native language. You can't expect entire India to know Tamil, but the TRUTH is most Indians know a bit of Hindi. Don't become Hindi professor - but knowing a bit always helps. Also, I encourage anyone visiting Tamil Nadu to have at least basic knowledge of Tamil Language as well. Solve this issue and erase any differences with love and respect - not everything has to be dramatised or politicised.

Can anyone provide a single logical reason why the people of Tamil Nadu should learn Hindi?

Calling us Tamil ppl Madarasis is not wrong as we are from the Madras region but it is used to vilify and treat us as “less than”. That is the issue.

Unpopular opinion: What Sam Pitroda said may be amusing, but it's not offensive. After all, it's an incontrovertible fact that people from different parts of India look different. If someone is offended when he's likened to an African or Chinese but not offended when likened to a White or Arab, latent racism may paradoxically be the cause for taking offence. If words were balls, Sam has a habit of bowling full tosses to BJP. No wonder he gets knocked out of the park. It makes him a clumsy bowler, not an offensive one. 😀

@naomilars I got rejected after SEVEN rounds once. I was so angry. Not at the job rejection, the fact that I spent 8x weeks interviewing and did a feature for them free of charge when they surely knew after two rounds easily I was “overqualified for the role.” Such a waste of time!!

The blue-ish (green-ish) color is totally normal for the milk is thinner, the fat milk gets expressed later during feeding and looks 'whiter'.
