Call me lazy, tell me I’m going to be replaced; I’m just trying to learn and develop and not get left behind. How else does one grow in an industry and field? Look at where we have come in the last 5 years. It’s ok to put an ego down and embrace technology.

Most companies want to see how AI can improve workflow. They don’t want to fire designers in favor of AI. And if they do, they’ll probably see it backfire publicly and internally.

Okay here we go a 🧵: I won’t argue whether or not people should make graphics using ChatGPT. Smaller programs, schools, pro athletes that just want a jersey swap; it’s too easy for them. Some places are not funded to hire someone. It’s likely someone just trying to do their job

I get not being fully qualified or different industry but applying to jobs & seeing them open 3+ months later still taking applications is gut wrenching. At a certain point designing for a brand is designing for a brand. 6 months & not a single person applied that can do the job?
