The woman on Wheel of Fortune got not one but TWO chances to solve this. First time, she said “…in your LAP.” Second time, she said “MAP.”

@Jmhalvo @LorieKonish She made a blanket statement that anyone who remarried forfeited all benefits based on exspouse's work record. Not always true.

If you're divorced, you may be able collect Social Security benefits based on your ex-spouse's record. “That is a huge, huge benefit," one expert says cnb.cx/34SHpkD

@LorieKonish If you were married for at least 10 years and don't remarry until after age 60, you can get your exspouse's benefit. SS contacted me when he died and told me this. I get his entire benefit.

@LorieKonish In an article you wrote about divorced people getting SS benefits based on a spouse's work record, you said, "But if you remarry, it disqualifies you from claiming on your ex-spouse's record." This is not true. If you remarry after age 60, you still qualify.

@DJordanLane @Braves A few more commas would have been nice too, but using its' is the worse offense. Its' is NOT a word. Who proofs their press releases?
