I don’t share too many personal details publicly. But I was inspired by this mornings reading and reminded, I have a testimony and I can help others. The past year has seemed to be one gut punch after another. Financially, physically, mentally….. I have gotten down at times. When I found Jesus like never before, the devil came at me even harder. But God had an Angel or two there beside me as well. The learning? I need more humility, I needed reliance on God and being honest with my wife rather than carrying the weight of everything on my own shoulders. Trying to shield her from everything and do it alone led to distance, distance led to distraction, distraction almost led to divorce. Today I can say, even with my wife losing her job at 7 months pregnant, we aren’t bankrupt. My freak health issue isn’t gone but I’m at 85 percent and that may be as good as I can be at this age. lol. I’m not turning to another, my wife and I are bonded like never before and a month away from finally bringing our first child, a future lady vol, into the world. Every problem isn’t solved but I can see light at the end of the tunnel. I hope my story can inspire one person today to hand it over to God and release the weight. There’s no way I can put pen to paper and show you how we survived this past year, but God brought us through. So if you see me out and I’ve gained some weight and have some odd looking yellow or pink glasses on, and look like I’ve aged 10 years in 2…..don’t think to yourself “that’s a man whos been through hell and keeps getting up everyday”. I want you to say “God learnt that boy and saved him from the depths” I HAVE DONE NOTHING ON MY OWN, GOD HAS PICKED ME UP EVERYDAY. The trials will make the faith genuine. God has a plan for me, while I don’t know the full plan yet, I know there is one. I know there is one for you also, give the burdens up, let God have em. Your sins are not too bad to be forgiven. Of course, you aren’t worthy (none of us are) but you are forgiven anyway. That’s why Jesus was brutally crucified…..he PAID for all of our terrible sins, even mine and even yours. No matter what you’ve said, what you’ve done, and it definitely don’t matter who you voted for. GOD’s got you if you just say ok and believe.

I am truly humbled by the outpouring of love and kindness y’all have shown to me through the loss of my grandmother. While we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing she went peacefully and had the best care teams - both in the ER & in the ICU. I’m not really sure how to live in this world without any grandparents but today is day 1. Meeting with my therapist this morning and going to do some self care after that.

Y’all. It is not good. Double pneumonia. Sepsis. Kidneys aren’t working & liver numbers are bad. Please just pray for us as we navigate this and make some decisions.

We learned earlier this morning that our brave little Hank still gets to keep both of his kidneys, even the one that’s still barely good enough to keep. It’s doing just enough to hang around. If I could hug everyone who works at @EastTNChildrens, I would. But I’ll settle for drinking from one of their mugs every day and wearing their swag on the show and being an ambassador until the day I die.

Y’all have no idea, Very Grateful, I’ve came along way from what it feels like to nothing. Over the years I’ve accomplished so much. Gods has already laid out my life. I just had to Trust in him and Walk this walk of faith, not with my understanding but with his.

@AD_DannyWhite Thank you for seeing the problem and addressing it out quickly. I was stuck in the Gate 20 mess & can attest to the fact you were standing there inside the concourse seeing the mess for yourself and somehow in the moment I felt comfortable since you saw it you would address it!

The experience will be much better this weekend, and we are committed to continually improve. Important to note for fans - the secure zone around gates 9&10 is accessible without scanning your ticket. You can walk through it, visit Truly Plaza, and still go back out to tailgate. You haven’t entered Neyland Stadium until you scan your ticket at the gates. If you have a cooler, we left the sidewalk open around the secure area for you to pass through.
