Tonight POTUS is declassifying records about the Chinese Community Party's "multi-domain" influence operations in 2020. CCP used all elements of government power, trade, diplomacy, social media, open source reporting to undermine his re-election. President Trump called it "the largest compromise of election data in history," resulting in China's acquisition of 200 million US voter files. NOTE: CCP could use this data for multiple purposes: voter fraud, identity theft and to target Americans for recruitment. President Trump said the Chinese influence operations was intentionally suppressed by elements of the US intelligence community and withheld from him. In April, I reported on the whistleblower complaint that is central to the China election influence and meddling allegations. For speaking up about the bias, and the suppression of intelligence, the whistleblower was severely retaliated against. There is an opportunity now to make it right for them and their family.

BIG PICTURE: China/CCP collects massive amounts of data (buying, stealing or hacking) to exploit vulnerabilities. President Trump said tonight the CCP's operations obtained 220 million voter records. In 2015, 22 million security clearance applications, known as the SF 86 (it's a road map to your life) were hacked by China. The threat comes from combining the data: weaponizing voter roles, health care records, and security clearance applications can build an entire profile of a US citizen. This can be used for fraudulent voter registration, identity theft, targeting US citizens for recruitment by China.

Ever wonder what would happen if Flock cameras grew wings? Meet Skydio. Skydio is a California company hiding under the cloak of “bringing manufacturing back to America” by producing drones that we used to buy from China, and then selling those drones to police departments so they can spy on you just like the Chinese. In a recent case they accidentally livestreamed their 'secure' drone footage directly to a public facing website for anyone to see. They weren't hacked by some enterprising citizen, they did it of their own volition (stupidity). Flock is not the only enemy, and we are going to need more than a bandsaw to deal with this emerging, layered threat.

At first, rewards will be on a points system, which will then convert to tokens at launch. Although we also have an interesting update about that coming soon... Deploying hardware grants you platform access for your immediate airspace, so you will be able to see whatever your own device picks up.

The FliteGrid hex map is coming! Deployers will be able to check the map and see what reward tier their specific locations fall into. There are also some features we think you're going to like... Live on July 28th.

Everything now can cause cancer except the vaxxine!
Smart Science@SmartScience

A new study found that CT scans may be linked to a much larger number of future cancer cases than many people expected. The study estimated that about 93 million CT scans were performed in the United States in 2023. Based on radiation exposure from those scans, researchers projected that they could contribute to about 103,000 future cancer cases. That number would equal roughly 5% of all new cancer diagnoses from that year, making the issue important at a public health level. The risk from a single CT scan is still considered low for most people. However, when millions of scans are done each year, the combined impact can become significant. Infants and children face a higher risk per scan because their bodies are still developing and they have more years ahead for radiation-related cancers to appear. Even so, most of the projected cancer cases are expected to occur in adults. This is mainly because adults receive far more CT scans overall. The cancers most often predicted from CT-related radiation include lung cancer, colon cancer, leukemia, and bladder cancer in adults. In children, the study pointed to thyroid, lung, and breast cancers as important concerns. Experts say CT scans can be lifesaving and should not be avoided when they are truly needed. The concern is unnecessary scanning or using more radiation than needed for a clear result. The main message is that doctors should order CT scans carefully, avoid scans that are not medically necessary, and use the lowest radiation dose that still gives useful images.

The KBox isn’t cheap. Many have commented about the price, which at $800 puts it high up on the list of premium home miners. While it’s less expensive than buying four QAxes, 18 Bitaxes, four Nanos, or two Octaxes, it’s also in a different league than all of those devices. It’s quieter, more efficient, and has a build quality that rivals just about anything else I’ve ever seen. They built an entirely new platform from the ground up, and made zero compromises along the way. Full video review on the way, in the meantime you can check out the full specs here: tinyurl.com/GSKBox
