The only logical explanation for these dumps is that crypto is now just a manipulation tool for Wall Street and institutions. Days of parabolic runs are over. It’s now just pump and dump for insiders to make money by liquidating longs and shorts. That’s it. Find a new addiction.

Still one of my favorite charts to this day. Studies show that 45 Days to Expiration (DTE) is the sweet spot for selling out-of-the-money (OTM) options. Yes, theta decay explodes in the last ~21 days, but the truth is you’ve already pocketed roughly 75% of the total premium in the first 24 days alone. Sell at 45 DTE → let time do most of the work early → manage or close long before gamma risk kicks in.

@great_martis We've got pretty decent corporate earnings, so a pullback of 20 to 30%, I can see that, but it's not a 1929 like scenario. They will shut down the exchange before this even could happen because this would cause a retirement issue. Besides, God bless the money printer... brrrrrr

@Barchart Don't think so. Bitcoin is too volatile, and even though the blockchain is decentralised, the ownership/holders of coins are fairly concentrated. Besides that, gold = value is in people's DNA by now. Bitcoin is just a speculative asset at the end of the day.
