@Vicoffin I really do not think that the devs were being a dick about it tbf. Games where you don't fight back is not uncommon either, is what gives the game more horror to it. Subnautica is mainly an exploration game, and you survive with what you are given.

@vortexvirus Players should always be entitled to criticise something they dont like. Devs should be allowed to have an opinion about said critique. Bothe DO NOT have to be dicks about it. Its that simple. Requesting a chance to fight back in a survival game is nothing uncommon.

🍓 Life update no one asked for but i feel i have to be transparent with you guys and not leave you in the dark wondering why Zorro has gone MIA from streaming. i guess ill start with the wound on my finger. It was deep and nasty but its smaller now and like 80% healed so im better now. Thank you to everyone who manifested the speedy recovery 💗. So for a little context, i wasnt able to work the past week because of my injury, if you dont know i work with food so i need to use my hands, i need to wear gloves which i wasnt able to because i had this big cast thing on my finger. I got excused from work, no biggie. Fast foward to today, this morning. I got an email from my job basically saying that ive had too many excuses in a row and i cant return. to put it simply, i lost my job because i couldnt perform my duties or whatever they said. SO until i find a new one i have to figure out what to do. Im a very grown adult and i have very grown bills to pay so my first thought is "ok i have rent coming up how tf am i gonna do that- emergency subathon or something" blah blah blah I HAVE NEVER HOSTED ONE OF THOSE SO IDK WHAT IM DOING !!! so thats not happening cause how does one do all that- Ive always been super independent and super about getting MY OWN things MYSELF and never relied on anyone to do it for me so literally ive been kinda freaking out all morning and thats why i still havent streamed, i most likely wont today. Its been a rough past week and its only gonna get rougher i fear. Right now it feels like everything is falling apart, merch, stream, my life, EVERYTHING. If you made it this far down thank you so much for reading all this, i never go too much into detail when it comes to my personal life but i gotta be transparent with you guys because youll probably notice the lack of art, stuff being pushed back etc so im sorry. I know this isnt anyones problem but my own but i wanted to you all know whats going on with me right now.

A lot of games have that mechanic tho, specially the horror games that don't focus on action, you just have to learn not to trigger the bad guys and get away while you do what you have to do. Haven't played that much of Subnautica cause i have thalasophobia, so might not know much, but i find that really realistic for an exploration game as well. Idk. Sons of the Forest slaps as a survival game tho, so, good recommendation from their part!

@vortexvirus Reportedly.. the devs see violence as fine only against the player. You can't defeat your enemies, and they would swarm you. That's all funny, but I think I might honestly get Sons of the Forest and skip trying their game for now.

people are being really mean over here i wish people would explain things instead of just people telling that person that they are stupid anyways, i am not vegan, i was a vegetarian for like 7 years or so tho even if chocolate didn't have milk in it, a lot of people don't know that a lot of chocolate brands use palm oil, so it makes it not vegan still. lots of vegan people don't consume or buy products with palm oil due to its method of obtaining it and what it does to animals in that habitat and the environment (and you would be surprised to know how many things use palm oil) being vegan is not a dietary thing, it's more of a lifestyle and trying to make the world a tad better, not only for animals but also the environment! now you know!

Also keep in mind I'm only working on the customizable model during the weekends since I work on commissions during the weekdays! Once I'm done with the comms I will be focusing full time on the customizable model again until the update is done! 🫶🏻
