Tour de force from #JodieComer in #PrimaFacie @marlowetheatre in #Canterbury last night. A compelling and emotional story with a punch, delivered by one woman on stage just acting her socks off-quite literally! I’ve seen a fair few actors in plays over the years but none better.

Almost everything this PM says now requires a community note. The electricity price cap is not coming down because the government has managed to produce electricity more cheaply. It’s still the most expensive in the world — and forecast to become even more expensive. The cap is reduced because the government has taken £117-worth of largely green subsidies from fuel your bills and put them on to general taxation. You’re still paying for them — just in a different way. And as your taxes go up to meet these green levies the cap is still £73 higher than when Labour came to power. So your energy bills are not coming down — though Labour promised they would — and the overall tax burden is at a record high. There PM. Sorted it for you.

Very pleased to see that this private members bill now looks likely to fail - well done to the House of Lords 👏🏻. Time to think again and not let campaigners risk jeopardising the sanctity of human life and open up yet another Pandora’s box.

The General Assembly adopted our resolution in support of a lasting peace, with clear calls for a full ceasefire and the return of our people. These are the right and necessary steps. A terrible idea. President Trump is completely wrong to announce tariffs on the UK over Greenland. People in both UK and US will face higher costs. These tariffs will be yet another burden for businesses across our country. The sovereignty of Greenland should only be decided by the people of Greenland. On this, I agree with Keir Starmer.
