Let’s try for a Christmas miracle. Our maintenance crew found a lost bag of Christmas presents on US 2 in Leavenworth. It’s too early for it to have fallen from Santa’s sleigh so if you can identify the names on the tags, we’d love to get them to you!

Last week Marcus partnered to secure $3 million in funding to conserve land and shoreline along the Little Spokane River. It was the final link connecting Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve and Riverside State Park. He joined the Spokane Tribe in reintroducing salmon into the river.

I learned yesterday that Al French is failing to participate in the League of Women Voter's upcoming forum. The incumbent's inability to find a small window of time to participate in this forum confirms that he campaigns the same way he governs: the less people know, the better.
