week one pinball progress report!! added sounds, including speed-based samplerate on the pinball as it moves! really conveys velocity. making this in dotbigbang from scratch with no physics engine just for the joy of coding stuff like gravity and bouncing #gamedev #dotbigbang

dot big bang v0.9.19.0 is out with over 50 new features and bug fixes :) One of the new things is a new start page with loads more fun stuff to do. Link in the first reply :)

@voxeleus thanks! the startup delay is so bad I need to think of a different way to spawn thousands of templates that are mostly turned off and out of the world.. maybe cloning an existing entity is faster than spawning a template

This might not look that interesting, but when @preston runs through the door, @_dotbigbang_ is using our new rapid loading system to load a completely new game in ~1.5 seconds, running in a browser, while >7000 viewers watch and play live on YouTube. The entire game is 1.1MB
