If as a child I tried to hide my origins as much as possible, now as an adult, the older I get, the more I want to look North African. Does this make sense? I think it is an inner struggle that only children of immigrants can understand

My takeaway: Jobs that give you the right experience + learning are far more valuable in the long-term than a title or short-term compensation.

In Jan 2012, I left my consulting job to go work for Techstars NYC. Techstars was like “YC of New York” — but instead of batch dinners and partner office hours, they gave the companies full-time office space and brought in a cadre of well-known founders + investors as "mentors".

Another RE record!
Western Australia hit 84% renewable at 10.30am yesterday. Could possibly be the highest instantaneous wind+solar penetration of any *isolated* GW scale in the world.
Note that the average RE penetration over the last 12 months is much lower at 35% (1/2)
