VR Hotspot is ideal when using a VR capable PC/laptop in environments where you don’t have access to a router, or only have access to a slow or unsecured one. Like when traveling for example.

this is using a $30 USB Wi-Fi adapter. Imagine the performance with higher-end hardware. We’re just getting started.

I’m having trouble getting SteamVR to launch games properly on latest @bazzite_gg. SteamVR home works and IS tracking, but games won’t launch, so it’s hard to tell what’s going on. @vrhotspot seems to be working tho..!

@MoistsRequiem If you give me the exact model, I’ll be happy to give you an answer. Given its WiFi 6E, it’s likely it will work. If you are not familiar with how this all works, I recommend waiting for v1.0. @DreadSlayerX 1) did you install VR Hotspot v0.1.9? 2) are you using only one WiFi adapter? right now it’s hardcoded to prefer an adapter. I’m currently working on fixing this atm. 3) what OS are you on? 4) what WiFi adapter?
