The literal #1 most suicidal belief you can have is that you’re an introvert/socially anxious/don’t like people. I was this guy until around 22. Thought I was better than everyone else and actively chose not to be social. Life completely changed when I started interacting with random people and just trying to make them laugh. Opportunities opened up, made relationships with people I never thought possible. Everything was just less dull and boring. Every day was fun for no reason. You cannot be a lone wolf. It’s a mental illness. Life is meaningless without people.
Goldie@dezgoldie

I believe in socializing basically 24/7. This has made me more money than anything else. High energy levels and constant social interaction.

Big Tech companies are sprinting forward, building data centers as fast as they can, sometimes using eminent domain to seize the land by force, making their AI more and more powerful, expanding the technology at lightening speed with no guardrails of any kind at all. Yet none of these tech gurus or any of their apologists have even attempted to explain what exactly all of the millions of people who lose their jobs, and the increasing numbers who lose their homes, all sacrificed on the AI altar, are supposed to do. How does society support millions of unemployed and displaced people? What becomes of a society where algorithms and machines do everything, and a few people become trillionaires while millions more lose everything? There is no answer to any of this. They aren’t even attempting to answer it. Instead we’re simply told that China exists and we have to “beat them” in some unspecified way, in order to achieve some unspecified goal. We’re going to obliterate entire industries, entire categories of jobs all at once, and the only justification anyone can give is “China.” It’s madness.

Growing up includes realizing that the popular jocky frat bros are usually popular because they’re cool and fun to hang out with and that nerds are often not diamonds in the rough and are rather unpleasant and off putting in character as well as appearance.
𝔐𝔽𝓩@mean_field_zane

One thing I have noticed here is that the frat brothers are often more interested in and open to learning ideas about the world than the artsy leftist humanities slackers.

In 2013, dozens of Republicans in Congress were trying to negotiate an amnesty deal that would have granted citizenship to millions of illegals. In 2015, one of the leading candidates for the GOP nomination for President was openly running on amnesty. Today, sitting governors and members of Congress are calling for a repeal of the Hart-Celler Act. Don’t let anyone ever tell you that nothing ever changes or that politics is a waste of time. The mainstream debate within the GOP shifted from “should we grant amnesty to 10 million illegals?” to “should we cut immigration by 85%” in just one decade. The ship is turning. You can argue it’s not turning fast enough, fine. But it is turning nonetheless. Politics works by turning what was previously considered sacrosanct into a hotly contested debate. The Left figured this out decades ago. They eventually forced their will on this country taking things that were previously considered not up for debate and endlessly politicizing them until they could dismantle a prior consensus in favor of one of their own choosing. We can do the same. It should be treated as a non-negotiable litmus test for Republicans in all primaries to be in favor of repealing Hart-Celler.
Ron DeSantis@RonDeSantis

Both the Hart-Celler Act of 1965 and the additions to it in the early 90s need to be repealed. So many examples of putting American citizens last in those pieces of legislation.

@Kheapathic @RealMolotoff @justalexoki I don’t need a slave, I want someone who can just gonna show up on time every day, make the clients happy, and learn from mistakes. Of course the company owns what you make at work, that’s the agreement in exchange for a paycheck

@vriltown @RealMolotoff @justalexoki In one breath you'd clamor over interesting things, in the next breath you'd also say you want 100% of their effort on the job. There's also the "Anything you make, we own" clauses in contracts. Don't pretend you're having honest looks.

@JamesCanaryII @justalexoki Yeah I’m not hiring anyone like that. That guy is clearly just going to put in bare minimum effort and stay there just long enough to use the “job experience” as a stepping stone

@justalexoki Oh boy, a vaguepost I know! For anyone wondering, they’re insufferable сunts who think they’re top shit because they can do basic things, real life redditors. Ive had junior devs before, I would take a retarded one that’s absorbent rather than a stubborn smart arse

Instead of imprisoning or killing him and proving him right, he should face exactly what he dishes out: getting called the n-word. Bet he wouldn't be so tough after that.
FearBuck@FearedBuck

ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

Rep. Andy Ogles@RepOgles

Excited to announce that my 83-page ASSIMILATION Act has been introduced. Months of labor were undertaken by my staff, @SenTuberville and myself in order to GUT the Hart-Celler Act of 1965, as well as scrap provisions of the Immigration Act of the 1990s. The goal of this bill is simple: end replacement migration and ensure American cultural cohesion. This bill will end the H-1B scam, ensure migrants NEVER become a public charge, and make America look like America again. FYI, net immigration immediately decreases by 85% under this bill. Some other things it does: • National Interest Standard • Stringent Character Tests • Mandatory E-Verify • Ends Chain Migration • Ends Diversity Lottery • GUTS Birthright Citizenship • WAY Tougher Asylum Standards • Stronger Public Charge Rules • 10 Year Citizenship Requirement • English & American Civics PROFICIENCY

REMINDER: Drunk driving and texting while driving are perfectly safe above a certain IQ threshold and the people who cause accidents while doing them are simply too retarded to be allowed to drive or learn how to read in the first place.

People are being really judgy about this but if you pay attention, you’ll see that she glances up at the road every 7 seconds or so, just like they teach you to do in driver’s ed.

@bumbadum14 Who gave you the right to come into my state and build this thing? No one. You screeched when houses were proposed to be built, but now it's fine you want a data center. You want to push out the Mormons and make the state blue with imports. Fuck you.

It’s literally the anti nuclear movement all over again. Just massive fear mongering based on nothing. The amount of heat generated on earth from the sun is 100 million atomic bombs. Totally useless metrics exclusively designed to scare people.
Pubity@pubity

Kevin O'Leary's proposed data center in Utah will require 9 Gigawatts of energy to function when fully built, double Utah's current energy usage for the entire state. It will dump around 23 atomic bombs worth of thermal load on the environment every day.
