I wrote a new blog post about using the Builder design pattern in JavaScript, which is not something we see often see mentionned with this language.

@Yes_I_Know_IT @croloris Thanks ! if you ever get back to it feel free to reach out, I'd be happy to help.

@croloris @vrischmann The work on the SQLite Zip wrapper is amazing. I tried doing something similar for the MongoDB driver, and your code, Vincent, was one of my primary sources of inspiration. I didn't have the time to master the metaprogramming aspect of Zig during the time I had for this project.

@vrischmann Ah, so sorry about that, this was an intentional change, but thanks for letting us know it was useful for you.

@SlackHQ Hi, did you voluntarily remove the option to cycle through the history with the Up/Down arrows ? It doesn't exist anymore in the new version 4.0.0 of the Linux app or in the web app.
English

@SlackHQ Yes but that's not what I had _before_ the last update. Before while _in_ the input box I could use the Up key to cycle through the messages I already typed; each message would appear in the input box and if I hit Enter it would send the same message again. I can't do that now.
English

@vrischmann Sorry for the confusion here, Vincent. Up/Down moves focus through your messages when you're not actively in the text input box. However, if you are in the input box, Up will start editing your previous message instead. Is this the behaviour you're seeing?
English

@SlackHQ Alt+Up / Alt+Down goes to the previous/next channel. According to the Keyboard Shortcuts help Up/Down "moves focus through messages" but what I'm seeing when using Up is that it starts editing the last message I typed. That's not what I had before the update.
English

@vrischmann Hmm, you should still be able to navigate back and forth by pressing down ALT and the up/down arrows. Does this work?

Forbidding extensions using 'unsafe-eval' would have been a good step years ago toward protecting users from unethical extensions.
These would never be allowed in Firefox's AMO: developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Moz…
