Waving sanctions means temporarily lifting sanctions. Iran insists that lifting all sanctions on Iran should be part of the US's commitments. وقتی فقط از دید نظامی به ماجرا نگاه کنید، همه جوانب را نمی‌بینید! مثلاً: همه سیاستمداران و مشاوران ج.ا. خیال می‌کنند افزایش سود اوراق قرضه آمریکا به ضرر ترامپ است، در حالی که کسانی که اقتصاد می‌دانند، می‌فهمند این افزایش سود در شرایط فعلی می‌تواند به جذب مشتری بیشتر و تقویت دلار منجر شود. مثلاً: بسته بودن تنگه، بخشی از کشتی‌های چینی و… را راهی تگزاس و لوئیزیانا کرده. مثلاً: هدف قرار گرفتن عرب‌ها باعث فروش هرچه بیشتر تسلیحات به اعراب شده است. و غیره.

آمریکایی‌ها جنگ را در حالی متوقف کردند که آسیبهای زیرساختی موجود روند فروپاشی اقتصادی آهسته و پیوسته را تضمین میکند. حمله نظامی میتواند روند چند ماهه‌ای که پیش بینی میشود را برای آنها تسریع کند. ترامپ اکنون یک کارنامه برنده در قبال جنگ اخیر ندارد. محاصره دریایی برنامه معقولی برای آنها است، اما انتهای آن نیز میتواند به درگیری منجر شود. پس آیا آنها sanction boost را به جهت درگیری مجدد محتوم تزریق می‌کنند یا منتظر اقدام ج.ا در پی فشار مضاعف در آینده می مانند؟
