@John_Mphatsoe @helenzille I can bet last penny that the ward in question isn't under DA, people vote for thugs at ward level then expect the provincial government to provide services, black people need to be taught how voting works and how local government works

@GrayHope4 @KennethThabiso6 @MDNnewss Stupid question, how are South Africans expected to get skills when they are not on offer and nobody is willing to impart the skills? Government closed down many skills development institutions that the public had access to, immigrants are tranferring skills to fellow immigrants

Somizi Mhlongo Says South Africa will struggle without Foreign Workers.💔🇿🇦 South African media personality Somizi Mhlongo has sparked a heated conversation online after reportedly sharing his views about foreign workers in the country. According to the statement circulating online, Somizi said some employees from countries such as Zimbabwe and Malawi are often hardworking and committed to their jobs. He reportedly compared this with his experience with a local South African worker who, according to him, frequently made excuses and struggled to complete tasks on time. Somizi also suggested that foreign workers play an important role in South Africa's economy, adding that the country benefits significantly from their contribution. The comments quickly triggered mixed reactions on social media.

South Africans Raised Over R540 000 for David Sejobe’s Family in a Week In a remarkable outpouring of support, more than R540 000 has been raised in just seven days to assist the family of beloved security officer and cyclist David Sejobe, whose sudden death last week sparked national grief. Sejobe, 49, a front‑of‑house security guard at the MultiChoice headquarters in Randburg, died after being struck by a vehicle in what police are investigating as a suspected hit‑and‑run while he was cycling to work. His warm greetings and infectious smile had become a familiar part of many commuters’ daily routines. A BackaBuddy crowdfunding campaign set up to help cover funeral costs and support his widow and children quickly surpassed its initial target of R20 000, drawing donations from across South Africa. Contributions ranged from small amounts to larger gifts, highlighting the wide impact Sejobe had on the community. His funeral was held yesterday in his home village of Ha‑Mashamba, Mukondeni in Limpopo, where family, friends and colleagues gathered to pay their final respects to the much‑loved security officer. Hundreds of mourners shared tributes and celebrated his life, marking a fitting farewell to a man remembered for kindness and generosity. Sejobe’s family expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming support, saying the generosity had offered comfort during their time of loss.
