yes, price is up today but im more bearish on crypto medium to long term than ive ever been wrote on sunday about no innovation in crypto and the dispersion problem. most money will only flow into a handful of coins. all of that still applies. but theres a personal layer underneath that i havent unpacked yet when i held sol last cycle, i had max conviction. id watched a full bear market cleanse, a year+ of accumulation under 30, and i could just decide "im holding 12 months minimum" and somewhat look away. the four year cycle was going to do its thing i dont have that feeling right now we didnt get a "real" bear this time. bitcoin drew down 50% when prior cycles drew down 70-80%. there was no long sideways accumulation base. october 2025 to february 2026 was four months of pain which has now bounced. that doesnt feel like the start of a multi-year bull. that looks like a relief rally inside something larger? maybe im wrong. maybe saylor and the ETFs structurally changed the floor and the old cycle math doesnt apply. open to it but i dont have the conviction to set a 12 month timer and look away like i did before. obvious caveat: a lot of how i feel right now is just downstream of price. btc is 80k while stocks are at all time highs. crypto looks limp in comparison and that colors everything. if btc reclaims 100k+ over the next month or two im going to at least temporarily feel different. price fixes a lot of these feelings and i know it im still here. but my crypto conviction is much less than it has been before. as of right now, if either of my bags run hard from here im probably trimming.

The nice thing about Zcash is it's a pure play.. There's no network of scams like Soylana. You just buy the coin, pretend to give a shit about privacy, and parrot lines about how the supply is the same as BTC Easy peasy

a very basic privacy tip - use something like @ProtonMail - create a dozen or so email aliases - use a different email for any new account signups - manage them via 1pass it's not perfect but it does reduce blast radius when some site data gets leaked
