@GamersNexus Big problem with this card its fan curve / temp monitoring, with default profile the card will try to cook itself even on desktop without doing anything. Also it may be picky on mobo, since i got mine as "not working", but works in my pcs :)

@The_Dr_Brule @hackerswagger @d4rkm4tter @vxunderground @NZXT there are cards for less/more, but larger cards needs bios that can split 16x slot into 4x4 lanes. Weirder cards like the one above probably has pci-e switch or raid controller on board to deal with more SSDs

@The_Dr_Brule @hackerswagger @d4rkm4tter @vxunderground @NZXT M.2 NVMe SSDs are connected through pcie (usually 4 lanes), just different slot. You can get cards for typical PCI-E slot, if your mobo doesnt have enough M.2 slots for example. This one takes 8x slot with 2 SSDs each having its own 4x lanes for example.

I was reminded of this today -- photo from 2014! I was testing some SSDs and used my Structural Optical Drive™ to move test software onto the system. The H440 was ahead of its time!

With the world being what it is at the moment, here’s a friendly reminder: a thin black line trailing any aircraft on Flightradar24 means its current position is estimated, not actual. This US Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster III is therefore most likely not operating in Iranian airspace at the moment.

@fatirmaske @flightradar24 yes, they could predict based on nearest airports / bases, distance it already traveled etc, but then some planes can air-to-air refuel and even without it it would be a guess. They need to add big notice "est. route / not real data", cuz a lot ppl get still get confused tho

@wUFr @flightradar24 well they can give more accurate prediction based on the historical data if they want to but I think it costs alot.

@fatirmaske @flightradar24 pretty sure they just estimate based on last direction and speed. Maybe if it has planned route, it could somewhat follow it, but without route they dont have any possible way of predicting where the plane may go

@flightradar24 Is your estimation algorithm something like new_lat = lat + delta_lat new_lon = lon + delta_lon or you truly estimate based on type of aircraft, origin of it and other factors?
