We have a Brand Brand New Westfield auger that simply won’t take grain. Load it up at all and it will pop the shear bolt or stall the tractor When it’s empty the main tube goes Clangy-Clang and the Swing goes Bangy Bang. The main auger empties easy. The swing does not. Any ideas ? #ontag #westfield

Just curious on the dust fans on feeder house if people shut them off while doing canola. Some x9 owners claimed they suck canola and blow it on the ground.

@kellyhagemann @farmerjim79 We can’t get ours to work when seeding canola seed . Have you got that figured out. ? I have tried for hrs changing sensitivity and presets for low volume and they always show blocked as soon as seed wheat or anything else at a medium volume they work great.

@farmerjim79 Yes its worth it, even if you have to replace some of the sensors. Best blockage sustem hands down. Wouldn’t be seeding without it.

@NeilJakabowski @bscomet22 Life is good for you were you farm if your able to take the hit on new machines every year. If I had your monies I would get the 7 plex trimax . to be honest I order the red scratchy one in 23 and it never showed up so I got the trimax instead. No looking back now.

@bscomet22 Was there a floater than spread all the n and s on this crop or a time release product .I am not saying they can’t be like this but there is a lot that dosent and it seems black or red scratch ones showed up around our farm. they both had it unless I am crazy but I don’t think so

Folks with @JohnDeere RX’s and @BourgaultAg drills, what have you done with your Topcon monitor in the cab and the absolute rats nest that is the Bourgault harness. Looking for some ideas. #newwheels

@Plantmore1 @yachtclubmatty @JohnDeere @BourgaultAg lots of wiring issues on my trimax With power wires rubing through on the drill frame and hitch and also had issue with the installation of the cab harness not using proper grounding lugs bourgault coveraged all the service calls but was looking for ways to simplify it.

@MikePalmier Started with 7 % canola in there It’s a new machine so we’re just getting to know capacities and limitations it’s going to run between 65 cents to 1 dollar per bushel per pass .

@wadebleier How much canola in there to start? Approximate cleaning costs with both passes?

Second pass on mustard canola mix . Started with 7% canola in it I would say we got it.
