Starting April 20, the federal fuel excise tax on gasoline and diesel will be temporarily suspended until September 7. This is expected to lower prices at the pump by about 10¢/L on gas and 4¢/L on diesel, helping bring some relief to Canadians. pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-r…

Thank you to Premier @Dave_Eby and the @BCLegislature for honouring my father today with a wonderful tribute. My dad was proud to be Musqueam, proud to be Chinese and so very proud to be Canadian. He will be missed but his legacy lives on.

Yesterday I lost one of the most important people. My teacher, role model, & hero, Howard E. Grant passed away. He was a pillar in our community, positively influencing many far and wide. I know our world is better because he graced it. Love you dad, see you on the other side.

If the federal government truly believes in the private property rights of Canadians, they should probably stop opening every public meeting by proclaiming the gathering on the “unceded territory” of this or that First Nation. Doing so reinforces the radical and dangerous legal concept that most Canadians live on “stolen land”. This is Canada. One country. For all Canadians.

It is unacceptable to harass or intimidate elected officials and their staff. Everyone should be able to go to work in a safe and secure manner, free of harassment or abuse. It is time for us to lower the political temperature in our city, our province, and our country. We must return our focus to debating issues instead of attacking the people we may disagree with.

She has now used screenshots from this unauthorized filming for her own social media posts. Using intimidation tactics against staff and members of the public is unacceptable. I’m proud to be Canadian, British Columbian, and Musqueam, that’s why our office flies all three flags.
