Skip #Electron. Use @wailsapp + Your frontend framework of choice. Wails leverages the native OS webview instead of bundling @ChromiumDev. The result is ~15MB binaries and ~10MB baseline memory usage. It delivers a vastly superior, lightweight experience for users. #desktopapps

1st impressions on @golang and @wailsapp Wails makes it stupidly easy to build desktop apps without electron bloat, also runs fast. Still sort of getting used to go, I'm appreciating the simplified threading and rich documentation, is easy to get started on. Deffo recommend!
