Post 68 Jesus - The Kingdom of God Is WITHIN You
Jesus - “Your message to the world shall be: Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and in finding these, all other things essential to eternal survival shall be secured therewith. And now would I make it plain to you that this kingdom of my Father will not come with an outward show of power or with unseemly demonstration. You are not to go hence in the proclamation of the kingdom, saying, ‘it is here’ or ‘it is there,’ for this kingdom of which you preach is God within you.”

hii partnership ya M-kopa na Samsung hutengeza billions by stealing from the poor people who can't afford a Samsung phone in cash .

Sam: How come you’re unable to join us in the studio? MP Gladys Boss: Maybe he uses matatus
That short exchange on Citizen TV said a lot.
That one statement exposed everything wrong with some Kenyan leaders.
Imagine mocking a Kenyan for using the same matatus that millions rely on every single day to survive this economy.
Teachers use matatus.
Nurses use matatus.
Students use matatus.
The same wananchi they beg votes from use matatus.
So what exactly was the joke?
But honestly, this is not new from Gladys Shollei.
This is the same person I exposed before over attempts in Parliament to make public participation reports less accessible to wananchi.
The arrogance.
The entitlement.
The disconnect.
Then, during campaigns, they suddenly remember “the common mwananchi.”

Tomorrow, Nairobi and its environs come to a complete shutdown.
Kasongo must fall.
All drivers across major highways in and around Nairobi are urged to peacefully join the protest by safely parking and switching off their engines at exactly 7:00 a.m. Stand together. Stay peaceful. Let the message be heard.”

@ivymuthe It's 22+ hrs since this post... I have a story
English

A Kenya Army veteran shares a hilarious story about how soldiers used to receive their salaries in cash in the old days Before the famous Tonje Rules that made it mandatory for salaries to be paid through banks, soldiers were paid in cash.On pay day, the Pay Master from each camp would collect the money from the bank using a heavily armed convoy, complete with an FFR Land Rover escort. For example, in Embakasi, they would head to KCB Bank, Kencom branch, with escorts armed to the teeth to guard the cash .At the bank, the Pay Master and his clerk would take a metallic soldier box into the Manager’s office. Outside, soldiers stood guard in full commando style, bringing bank business to a complete standstill.Civilians would stop and stare at the spectacle, knowing the soldiers were about to get paid Once back at base, the Pay Master would distribute the money to the Pay Officers of each department so the troops could be paid around 2 PM.Soldiers proceeding on annual leave would also be paid their Leave Mileage in cash, calculated according to the distance they were travelling. For instance, personnel heading to North Eastern Kenya would receive up to 30 times more than those going to Machakos or Nairobi. The very next Friday after pay day, there would be a live disco at the ORS Mess. It was an official event — they would even authorize a welfare vehicle to drive around town picking up guests They would go into town, bring ladies back to the mess, and spend the money like it was on fire. Salaries disappeared at rapid speed, just like falling plates at the shooting range By Monday, most wallets were back to factory settings, and they would wait for the next month’s pay The one saving grace was that food at the camp was full board — breakfast, lunch, and supper. That lifestyle caused many of them to lose focus and fail to plan for the future. By the time retirement came, most had nothing saved.
