The inferiority complex Leclerc fans have is so funny lmaooooo. I can’t even blame them because they didn’t expect Lewis to be matching or even beating Leclerc at 41 loool. Lando his mate is already a world champion and Max is a 4 time champion

@ElPredestinato @geronimoo2344 @F1_driven Lmaooo do you realise you can go towards another driver’s setup direction and also make some changes to make it better for you in terms of how you drive ????? Man said Lewis went the opposite way dfkm 😂

@wajieffect @geronimoo2344 @F1_driven No he quite literally didn’t “move to Hamilton direction” he made changes to the car based on his own feeling. So much so that Hamilton said he noted that Charles changed the amount of front wing and Lewis went the opposite way which turned out to be worse and hurt him on stint 1

Why is when Lewis says things, he gets a ton of hate (even from Italian journalists!), but ends up being proven right a couple days later? It's disgusting how often it happens.

@ElPredestinato @geronimoo2344 @F1_driven Lmao did Leclerc not follow the simulator and then change his setup towards Hamilton’s direction like he said ???? Also Charles was in the same press conference when he said it so why would he lie ?

@geronimoo2344 @F1_driven No he’s called a liar when he makes comments about Charles setup like this weekend and then proceeds to flip flop

I don’t fucking understand why he would change his setup

#BritishGP 🇬🇧 | Lewis Hamilton says him not being as quick as he was in the Sprint Qualifying was down to his deployment issues, understeer and braking in Turn 3. He says braking in Turn 3 was quite inconsistent for him today with the set-up they ended up choosing but he’s happy to see both him and Charles in the top 3.

As soon as I found out Lewis was actually running CI brakes, all my worries disappeared. I lived through this in early 2013, and know just how vital it is. Even if they’re just brake discs - a very interchangeable component on an F1 car, coming from a guy who’s assembled them - they can transform a driver. It was a big fear I had going into 2025, and Ferrari’s exclusive contract with Brembo prevented this change happening from Day 1. A driver should be able to have his own brakes almost instantly barring some minor details (perhaps a couple of races to finalise their integration). Ferrari being stuck in their ways delayed this process by nearly 18 months. It only raises the question of how much was left of the table in 2025 too. The fact that he continued to move mountains to remove this burden and get his way is impressive. He knows what he needs to extract his potential. There was a similar story with Alonso at Alpine and Aston with his Power Steering. He pushed to have it swapped and it made a world of a difference. It’s the pitfall of many great drivers in the past - Raikkonen and Ricciardo - who just turned up and drove the car, which led them to getting exposed badly by strong opposition later in their careers. Hamilton’s perseverance is a testament to his character - and you see the results now.
