Ombudsman Remulla’s announcement that plunder, malversation and other cases will soon be filed with the Sandiganbayan against the same government officials implicated in the Blue Ribbon Committee’s partial report on the flood control anomaly is a vindication of our findings and recommendations.

@iampinglacson @laiteranidaddy The uncomfortable truth is that democracy becomes vulnerable when citizens are poorly educated, emotionally manipulated, and politically conditioned to prioritize personality over competence.

Handa aniyang bumaba sa pwesto si Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano kung may sapat na bilang ang minorya para sa pagbabago sa liderato ng Senado.
"Show me 13 hands or 13 signatures, I will even administer your oath if you want to," ani Cayetano.

‘PLEASE DO NOT BE AN ACCESSORY TO BRINGING MY HUSBAND TO THE HAGUE’
Umapela ang asawa ni Sen. Bato dela Rosa sa mga korte sa bansa na huwag isuko ang senador sa International Criminal Court (ICC) kasunod ng inilabas nitong warrant of arrest.
“Granting the people in power permission to voluntary surrender another filipino is an admission that you are weak and incapable of handling this case, thus the need for an international court to intervene,” saad ni Nancy dela Rosa sa isang Facebook post.
“We do not have the luxury of time to wait for your technical arguments and debates. Every moment you remain undecided is an opportunity for them to close in on Bato,” dagdag pa niya.

Malacañang denied allegations that the plunder case filed against Sen. Rodante Marcoleta and his election campaign donors were politically motivated, saying that the complaints stemmed from evidence and admissions coming from the senator himself.

'HE SHOULD NOW ANSWER TO THE LAW'
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said on Saturday that Sen. Robin Padilla should help authorities establish the full account of how Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa left the Senate premises after the former police chief had been placed under the chamber’s protective custody.

CAYETANO'S "POKÉMONIFICATION" OF PH POLITICS
LOOK: Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano on Saturday, May 23, used a Pokémon-inspired analogy to explain the political and economic situation, saying this was how he would explain national issues to the youth.
He said the country has moved from “Mega Dream” and “Perfect Order” to “Ascended Heroes” and “Chaos Rising.”
Cayetano said politics has turned into factional conflict where people side with their allies regardless of who is right or wrong, while warning that chaos is also fueled by forces seeking to preserve the status quo and block reforms.

🚨 Itinuturing ng NBI na “armed and dangerous” si Sen. Bato Dela Rosa.
Kaya sa mga nagbabalak gumawa ng citizen’s arrest at nagtatanong kung pwede ba nila arestuhin si Bato, wag.
Delikado.
Just report to the PNP or NBI his location.
Bato-bato sa langit! 👊

Sometimes, the strongest witness against you is yourself. COMELEC once refused to act even after Senator Rodante Marcoleta himself admitted receiving ₱75 million in campaign contributions that were not declared in his SOCE. In trying to defend himself, he put the facts on record himself: three donors, three separate occasions, while he was a Congressman and Senate candidate.
Now, it is that same admission and affidavit that led the Field Investigation Bureau of the Ombudsman to recommend plunder and bribery charges. The good Senator may have dug his own grave.

@imtheatan @grok kindly explain RA 7080. Does the COMELEC ruling already settle the election offense issue, and how does that legally translate into plunder?
English

🚨Marcoleta’s Loophole Just Backfired: The P75M Blindspot is Now a Plunder Case! 💸
1. *Akala niya yata nakalusot na siya nung ni-clear siya ng Comelec,* but Marcoleta’s P75 million "technicality" just blew up in his face!
By admitting he accepted millions from private donors *before* the official campaign period to escape an election offense, he practically handed the Ombudsman the ultimate blueprint for a **Plunder case (RA 7080)**.
Talk about playing yourself! 🤡
2. The legal math here is absolutely brutal because *lahat ng elements, swak na swak*:
**Public Officer:** He was an incumbent congressman holding major legislative power.
**The Loot:** A massive ₱75 million total—well over the ₱50 million plunder threshold—split between Mike Defensor (₱30M), Joseph Espiritu (₱25M), and Aristotle Viray (₱20M).
**The Overt Acts:** Repeatedly pocketing multi-million "donations" from private individuals isn't "generosity," *gurl*— that is textbook indirect bribery and a violation of PD 46.
3. What makes this so deliciously ironic is that the evidence is ironclad dahil galing mismo sa kanya!
Investigators don't even have to dig hard; they have his own Verified Position Paper admitting to the ₱75M, the Donor’s Tax Returns, bank slips, and his own loud mouth in television interviews.
4. This is a massive warning shot to every traditional politician trying to manipulate their SOCEs.
You can't just declare "zero donations" to the Comelec and think you're safe.
If you're a public official accepting sacks of millions in the shadows, it’s no longer an election loophole, but it’s a one-way ticket to a plunder conviction.
Get your🍿ready!
