Great preclinical work by Hiroshi Nakagawa that shows that contact is necessary but not even sufficient for PFA in ventricle! Force dependent increase in lesion size shown. PSA: PFA does not appear to be non-contact nor is it non-thermal!

It is not clear that contact force has the same impact on lesion prediction with HPSD ablation. Contact is important, but the amount of force from 5 to 30 g may not be since the duration is too short!

#HRS2021 we are glad to present our data. HFLV ventilation is such a simple intervention and the impact to AF ablation procedures are significant: shorter procedure and PV RF times, lower return of conduction and no AEs seen.
