I feel like this whole axios supply chain attack is a pysop to use socket.dev. I immediately signed up and paid + scanned our repos to confirm we weren't vulnerable (we aren't). But the amount of traffic they generated is crazy. GTM for a cybersecurity company is just to tweet about a vulnerability that could affect a lot of folks. And then watch the money pour in.
