Guys it's okay. No reason to be scared 😂 My life mission to make crypto taxes not suck. Sat: koinly founder scraping our tutorial Sun: cointracker bullying me in the comments Mon: tokentax adds recaptchas to make it hard to switch to Awaken. These tactics don't win. Best product does. And I was coding til 2am last night IDK about you.

Why would someone need to sleep 9-10 hours? Seems excessive.

Has there been another period when companies did significant layoffs. While also printing record profits in an extremely strong stock market?

Am I the only one getting vibe coding fatigue? Building landing pages in 30 seconds was fun, but maintaining a complex codebase where half the logic was “vibed” into existence is an absolute headache. Feels like we traded 1 hour of typing for 5 hours of architectural debugging later. I’ve started manually writing core logic again so I actually know where the technical debt is hiding. Is anyone successfully managing large production projects with AI agents, or are we all just building disposable software?

A lotta crypto companies are gonna die this year. But not Awaken. We’ve already survived a lot. Ran out of money. Cofounder breakup. Cyber attacks. Just being un-killable means you take market share from those who aren’t. You literally just have to not die.

@ChrisCoffee @sama Interesting, just curious why? You can get this for $10-20/mo in most finance tracking apps. I get bundling it in but upgrading just for this curious why?

Yeh but rlly hard to know how the game plays out. Example for cloud, AWS didn’t directly compete with most products being built on top. They did some, but not all. The AI models are competing with basically every single use case people are building on top. Every week they announce things competing with multiple of their customers. It’s just a weird vibe bc they intend to try and swallow the entire economy. But whether that can actually happen is a question mark (it hasn’t in the past)

@big_duca if we want to compare by analogy take cloud computing, engineering services ontop is a $100b industry. ai engineering will be much larger. it will definitely be very competitive, but there are many layers and many verticals.

@cousinvanko Yep. They will compete with every use case that’s worth doing. Heading to an oligopoly really fast.

When you make a startup, you pick a niche to start in. That’s like 1000x more important right now vs before. If you don’t niche down, you’re gonna get competition from below (startups) and above (model companies). But if you pick something that’s so small it’s almost silly. You can do very well. And anything where the market size is not $10Bs a year falls in that bucket.
