This is a horrendous statement. It's a slap in the face of your victims and those of us that also had horrific childhoods, and PTSD, dealing with unspeakable pain and suffering that never turned to SA others, and never will. The thought of it sickens me to my core. How the fuck is it in any way an excuse or explanation for what you did, only a couple days after downplaying the victim's statements regarding your vile behaviour. Your selfish actions may have caused lifelong trauma for those women, and your statement reads like a sympathy plea.

Having had a lot of health issues myself, I decided to share some of my thoughts on this as I hope it will help someone in the similar situation. Scrolling online you will see a lot of so called solutions to the problems, but people have to understand that they most likely won't work because they are either being sold as a "product" or unsustainable for an average person to follow for a prolonged period of time. What the hell are you talking about you might ask? Fitness industry for the most part is useless. Nutrition industry for the most part lacks context. Medical industry became a business. So what to do? I will try to break this down in five sections that can apply to general population, unless you have a pre-existing condition or a genetical disorder. The beauty of all of this is that most of the answers you should inherently know just by being alive for number of years and living with your body . You are just being confused by tornado of conflicting information bombarded on the platforms. So let us dive into it: 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽: Shocking right? Should be an obvious one, but it is the most neglected one. Notice I said quality of sleep, I will not bore you with statistics and data behind this. All you have to do is make sure you make this a priority and try to identify the reason why your quality of sleep is bad. 🔸If your body hurts every time you wake up, change the bed immediately, some even suggest the floor might change your life. Yes, the floor. Listen to your body. Invest money in your sleeping environment, this is where you spend often 1/3 of your day. 🔸Wind down before you go to bed. You don't go to sporting activity and just immediately go full blast. Treat this as warming up for physical activity. Sleeping is not meditation or resting necessarily, body is very active. If you don't believe me, next time you wake up get up and look at the state of the bed. Sheets often look like there was an MMA match happening during the night. 🔸Breathing during the sleep. Check how you breathe during the sleep. Very important, as many people are not aware of conditions like sleep apnea. If you are not breathing properly nothing will help you. 𝐒𝐮𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐱𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Again no boring big words here. Get sun exposure as soon as you wake up for at least 30-45 minutes and do it in peace. No excuses and try to make it a routine that your body will get accustomed to after a while. You inner clock is more important than the actual clock. 🔸Try to avoid extended periods of time without break on your screen especially as the night time gets closer. I adjusted my phone screen for example on the warmest colours possible to avoid blue light. Took some time to adapt, but a world of a difference. 🔸Schedule some downtime in the day, even if it is short like 15 minutes for couple times per day. Just do nothing, stare at the wall if you have to. Let your dopamine and cortisol have a break, otherwise it will lead to a civil war in your system eventually. 𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: What exercises should I do? Which training program should I follow? How am I going to change my lifestyle? Harsh truth? Adapt to your genetics, for the most part they determine what you should do. 🔸Most have different mental fortitude 🔸Different body types 🔸Different sport background 🔸Different response to a certain exercise Don't follow anyone online. Fitness industry is trying to sell you a program that is not tailored for the individual and is out there to keep you on the program as long as possible. Want to go to the gym? Go to the gym grab the bar and machines, just do it. Stop worrying about 45 exercises, perfect technique or training programs. Full body exercise is enough for 99% of the population. Stop following elite level programs, when you can barely hold a bar in your hands. It makes zero sense Keep it simple and focus on following: 🔸Make it fun and adapt to your body, your body will tell you what to do. 🔸Pick something you can be consistent in over the course of your whole life, not what someone else tells you, as this way you will not enjoy it. Can you follow something you don't enjoy your whole life? No. 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Probably the most divisive topic of them all on the internet in the past years. Restrictive diets, eat this, don't eat that. Everything you need to know that all of them are wrong. Why do I know this? Everyone is trying to sell you a product. I will design you now a plan that someone would charge you 5,000$ for. You ready? 🔸Breakfast: Something like eggs and bacon 🔸Lunch: Some meat and greens 🔸Dinner: Some fish and greens Eat fruit through the day and add stuff like rice, potatoes or whatever you like depending on your daily activity, gender and body build. Do not learn how to count calories, learn how to visually identify if you are just being a fat pig with that meal. Everyone knows it, stop lying to yourself. Don't restrict yourself from any type of food!!! Just try to avoid overindulging in empty calories like drinks, oil and sweets in excess. There done. 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞: Hang out with people! Make it a task if you have to. Sounds ridiculous right? Not really, majority of the day people spend online and have artificial human contact. You see it with kids today, which is quite scary. Many have mental disorders and issues with development, because they spend their day exclusively online. We are not built for this type of contact. We need meaningful human contact in order to function. Go do social activities with your friends, devote your time to the family and have an actual meaningful relationship with your partner. It is a bit of a long post, hopefully you made it to the end. I hope that applying some of these simple life truths can help someone get out of the mental slump or health issue if you are facing one. Stress is a silent killer that leads to major complications in your life. Contain it before it gets too late. Take care!
