I feel like we need a proper old fashioned defensive midfielder. Someone in the Ngolo Kante mould to do a load of donkey work effectively. We are just so wide open it’s actually crazy. I’m not too clued up on current players who excel at that. Maybe that Brazilian kid who went to Chelsea and wasted a couple of years of his development

I hope those on power acknowledge that with the plan for Newcastle to compete in Europe again ASAP, as such we need a stronger squad. Sentimentality and loyalty have to go out the window if players underperform, or simply don’t play enough games. #NUFC
