No Crossing, No Fee. Britain's People Smugglers Now Offer Consumer Protections. Writing in the Telegraph, Home Affairs Editor Charles Hymas reports that a BBC undercover team walked into a phone shop called Afg Mobile Repair in Woolwich last week and found an established, functioning payment system for illegal Channel crossings. A wholesale business in Newcastle and a car wash in Cambridge were also named. The man behind the counter in Woolwich explained the arrangement with the calm of someone describing standard business practice. Money held until the crossing succeeds. Refunded if the boat sinks. No receipt. The smuggler calls when the funds arrive. The people smuggler running this network has been operating out of northern France for more than five years. The British end of his payment infrastructure has been running long enough to become routine. This is not a story about criminal ingenuity. Criminals are always ingenious. This is a story about what successive British governments have allowed to become normal. The same week, Albanian gangs were found advertising Channel crossings on TikTok. Places on small boats offered for £150, targeted at the Albanian diaspora already settled in Britain, with hashtags reading "Albanian in London" and "Albanian in England." One advert was viewed more than 5,700 times before a journalist asked TikTok about it. The account was banned. The next one will be up within days. The platform is not the problem. The problem is that Britain has become a destination so reliable, so lucrative and so difficult to be removed from that gangs can advertise the journey openly on mainstream social media and treat the takedown as a minor inconvenience. Labour will point to recent arrest figures, with NCA arrests up 55 percent in the past year. But the cumulative total tells a different story. The Home Office confirmed this month that more than 200,000 people have crossed the Channel illegally since 2018. Around 46,000 crossed in 2025 alone, up significantly on the year before. A phone shop in Woolwich is processing payments for people smugglers. A car wash in Cambridge is holding funds in escrow for illegal crossings. Albanian gangs are running discount promotions on TikTok. The 200,000 milestone was reached on this government's watch. Smashing the gangs was the promise. The phone shop is the reality. Keir Starmer has spent two years promising to smash the gangs. The gangs have responded by opening a phone shop. The payment infrastructure for illegal entry into Britain is embedded in British high streets, operating alongside legitimate businesses, using British bank transfers and British phone numbers. The criminal market for Channel crossings has matured to the point where it offers consumer protections. The reason this infrastructure can operate openly is the same reason it has always operated openly. The incentive to cross remains overwhelming because the consequence of crossing successfully is, for most people, indefinite residence in Britain. Hotels. Welfare benefits. Legal aid. Healthcare. The right to appeal, and appeal again, through a court system that takes years to exhaust. The gangs are not exploiting a loophole. They are exploiting the entire architecture of an asylum system designed by people who either did not foresee this outcome or did not care about it. Closing that infrastructure requires more than arresting the man behind the counter in Woolwich, though he should be arrested. It requires making the crossing economically irrational. Rapid removal. No hotel. No legal aid pipeline. No years of appeal. The moment a successful crossing stops guaranteeing indefinite residence in Britain, the payment system in Woolwich has no customers. The TikTok account has nothing to advertise. The gangs move somewhere else. Britain has the tools. What it has consistently lacked is the political will to use them. While that gap remains, the phone shop stays open and the boats keep coming.

🚨 SHOCKING CASE!! SEVEN MEMBERS OF SAME FAMILY CONVICTED IN CHILD ABUSE CASE Seven members of a Coventry family have been convicted of what police described as one of the most shocking and systematic cases of child abuse seen in decades. Following an eight-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court, the defendants were found guilty of a series of offences ranging from cruelty and neglect to rape and sexual assault of children aged between two and 15. Two other family members and a close associate had previously pleaded guilty to related crimes at an earlier hearing. Anthony Potts, 49, of Milverton Road, was convicted of 13 counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, nine counts of inciting a child to perform sexual acts and cruelty to children. Nathan Potts, 26, of Burnaby Road, was found guilty of two counts of rape of a child, four counts of sexual assault, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and sexual activity with an adult relative. Keith Potts, 67, and Julie Potts, 60, both of Burnaby Road, were each convicted of two counts of cruelty to a child. At a previous hearing, Joshua Potts, 26, also of Burnaby Road, admitted multiple counts of rape and sexual assault against children. Joanne Hoye, 42, of no fixed address, and Elaine Potts, 50, of Milverton Road, were convicted of neglect-related offences. Two 17-year-old boys who stood trial were found not guilty. A 52-year-old woman accused of aiding and abetting sexual offences faces a possible retrial after the jury was unable to reach a verdict. A date for sentencing is yet to be confirmed. The investigation revealed abuse stretching back more than 30 years. The first report was made to police in 1989, when a victim described a six-year ordeal. However, that case did not proceed to trial and was later criticised as “poor policing” following a review. In May 2015, three more young people disclosed allegations of abuse, but initial investigations concluded there was insufficient evidence to charge the suspects. It was only after further disclosures in family court proceedings and testimony from an additional survivor that the case was reopened. As the investigation progressed, officers uncovered further victims and built a complex case with support from children’s services, specialist advocacy groups and independent intermediaries. Detective Sergeant Rachel Gregory, from the force’s Public Protection Unit, described the case as “one of the worst examples of systematic and horrifying child sexual abuse” she had encountered. She praised the courage of the survivors, many of whom had lived with the trauma for years before coming forward. Officers said safeguarding measures are now in place and all children involved are receiving ongoing support. Detective Chief Inspector Jo Floyd added that it is never too late to report abuse and encouraged anyone affected, either recently or historically, to contact police. She emphasised that specially trained officers are available to support victims throughout the criminal justice process.

UK authorities have accused little girls of being prostitutes, “co-conspirators” and willing accomplices in their own grooming and abuse. They have arrested a father for trying to rescue his daughter from her rapists. This was not mere negligence or turning a blind eye. Officials have actively and deliberately protected the perpetrators.

⚠️OUTRAGEOUS⚠️ Afghan national Rapualla Ahmadze, 21, who was jailed for 9 years for attacking & r-ping a 17YO girl in Elgin - has had his sentence REDUCED by one year. Lord Matthews & Lady Wise, said they considered 9 years "excessive". Ahmadze brutally attacked the girl in a park near where he was housed in an asylum hotel. He broke into the country. He was put up in a hotel. He brutally attacked a young girl whose life is changed forever! "Excessive"!? The original 9 years wasn't even nearly enough. What the hell is happening?

⚠️Not only have child predators exploited technological advances to carry out their sick crimes - mixed sex changing facilities have also been a gift to disgusting men such as this ⬇️ Teacher Matthew Gilkes, 47, took more than ONE MILLION upskirting images of schoolgirls over several years. Police found 80 devices at his workplace and home including a school-issued laptop, spy pens, hidden cameras and memory cards containing a horrifying mass of indecent footage and images - many involving girls from his own school. And he didn’t stop there. Gilkes also created fake social media accounts pretending to be a teenage boy so he could groom and manipulate girls into sending indecent images and videos of themselves. This predator exploited every opportunity available to him: ▪️Access to children via teaching ▪️ hidden cameras ▪️ fake online identities ▪️ anonymous technology ▪️ mixed sex facilities The sheer number of victims is horrifying. Cases like this show predators now have more methods and more opportunities than ever before to target girls both in the online sphere and real world. ⚠️Gilkes’ hideous collection was only discovered after he was caught taking photographs of girls underneath cubicles at a leisure centre in Chorley. He has now been sentenced to 16 years in prison with an additional five years on licence. But the damage inflicted on huge numbers of girls will last a lifetime - their privacy violated, their dignity destroyed and their sense of safety shattered by a vile predator who exploited every opportunity available to him. A despicable, despicable man. I wish him the very, very worst.

And once again this is the reason why I always say “I hope for the best and expect the worst” when dealing with public bodies! Because I have consistently seen them “use” useful people when it’s convenient, then ignore them when it’s not! Exactly how victims are treated by the “system” on a daily basis!! And once again that’s what I see here, despite the words, promises and commitments made in the meetings I’ve been in between January and February… followed by a deathly silence! Following meetings with the new chair @annelongfield immediately after she was appointed chair of the new enquiry in January, myself and @TMOFCharity hosted a meeting for her and her team with about 2 dozen survivors who want to be included in this enquiry. We were very happy to help in any way we could, and ensure our survivors are properly supported through this whole process. That was over 3 months ago. Neither our survivors, nor us, have had a single update in that three months. Then I see this shared online today on X although none of the survivors, ourselves or the lawyers who are representing those survivors have been notified of this which I find shocking. I guess I’ll have to listen in to find out a few answers, Read the last paragraph below…. And make up your own minds if this is the way “to build trust”…. Here is the official page for the Select Committee: lnkd.in/eu-VPRev Worth noting the statement: Following the announcement of an updated terms of reference in March 2026, the Home Affairs Committee will question the Chair of the inquiry and members of the panel on its structure and ways of working. It will examine how the inquiry will engage with local inquiries, and work with government and other institutions. Prior to the current chair being appointed, members of the inquiry’s survivors panel resigned and two short-listed chairs resigned amid concerns around how victims’ voices would be heard and the inquiry’s independence secured. The Committee will question the new Chair on how she plans to build trust with victims and survivors and include them in the work of the inquiry.

Sarah Pochin asks a perfectly valid question: “Why are some protesters being fast-tracked through the courts, while grooming gang survivors are left waiting decades for justice?” He views protesters and their opinions as more important than our children being raped, brutally tortured, and murdered. He can’t even bring himself to acknowledge us in his response. These politicians repulse me to my core. Absolute cowards.

Two-tier justice in the UK isn’t some conspiracy theory — some of us are living it in real time. 3 days ago, I reported a delivery driver after witnessing behaviour that raised serious concerns involving minors. We were at an event and this man was filming children playing in the sandpit. Luckily, we noticed this and my other half had him delete the video. This man was asked if he had children there; he said no. This man was zooming in on other people’s. I did what the public is constantly told to do, speak up, report it, protect children. The response? “Unless the videos were indecent, there’s not a lot we can do.” Not only was the concern brushed aside, but instead of asking why someone was filming minors in the first place, people online immediately jumped to accusations of racism, despite the fact I never mentioned race once! Apparently in Britain, asking questions about suspicious behaviour is worse than the behaviour itself. The problem wasn’t race. The problem was that MINORS were being recorded without the parents even knowing, by a strange man. Then there’s the second case. A man charged with NINE breaches of a restraining order against me has now been handed an NFA. By the courts. NINE breaches. First offence was committed within hours of him being handed the damn order. He was due to stand trial in September. Let that sink in. This wasn’t one misunderstanding or one accidental message. This was repeated conduct serious enough to lead to charges in the first place, yet somehow it disappears into the void with “no further action.” This is despite edited images of me also being involved. Me in boxing rings, me and him in the cover of Pretty Women, he turned it into “Petty Woman”. Let’s not forget, this man is heavily associated to my abusers. So what exactly are restraining orders worth in this country anymore? What message does this send to victims? That harassment only matters when it fits a certain narrative? That repeated intimidation is acceptable until someone ends up seriously harmed? The public are constantly told: •“Report concerns.” •“Trust the system.” •“Speak out.” But what happens when you do? You get ignored.
You get smeared.
You get called names. You’re silenced.
And the people causing the distress walk away untouched. How? THIS is why public trust is collapsing. Not because people are “misinformed,” but because ordinary people can see the double standards with their own eyes. One rule for some.
Another for everyone else. That’s not justice.
That’s institutional failure. Over, and over again.
