Full circle moment.
As 1 of biggest card collectors, very first rare card I got is Kobe 1997 Essential Credentials /EC 2/8. (Also Kobe Gigi.) It started it all!
After understanding the hierarchy of veefriends a bit, thanks to the alpha from Gary, I grabbed a top 4 character Gratitude Gorilla also 2/8!! Gary was buried in its phonetics two times as well.
No other top 5 characters from rare to spectacular available, which speaks to the passion and belief of the other holders.
I choose character over rarity. It’s like collecting LeBron Prizm Gold over Prizm 1/1 of guys of lesser stature.
Crazy thing is that not only both items provide a bookend of sentimental value and significance of my collecting journey, they are also
- matching serial/print run 2/8
- matching colorway as well! (Long story for EC)
I’m indeed full of gratitude to be in this alternative asset/coffin item/sportscards/PaniniBlockchain/PFP/art NFT space, meeting friends, providing/catching alphas, creating value, building/growing strong community, win together and pushing boundaries in a net positive way.
My life mission is to
- elevate sports cards to art level, 100x ($5M Wemby just now vs $180M Pollock)
- to close gap between #PaniniBlockchain /PBC assets to physical equivalent, 10-3x in general (this should be easy)
Will not stop until get there and will not stop after that.
