Carrick literally has no tricks up his sleeve as a manager, Boro fans were right. Mainoo gets injured and he could’ve easily dropped Bruno into the pivot, put Amad at 10 with Mbeumo on the right, or even given Zirkzee a start. Championship is his ceiling.

Football isn’t a difficult sport. You need as many players who are capable both athletically & technically. Dalot, Maguire & Mainoo have a good enough blend of the two to be players for Manchester United. Ugarte, Yoro, Shaw & Mazraoui don’t.
