@ArneysReds You're referring to human rights as "politics shite". Do you realise how disconnected from reality you sound?

23 years ago today in Gaza, British photographer Tom Hurndall was shot in the head by an Israeli sniper while trying to protect Palestinian children. Humanity will never forget him

With these pictures showing the bond we shared, I almost felt I could get away with saying nothing about you leaving. It’s been an honour to be your teammate and your friend. You’ve won it all and you leave as a legend. I’m sure we will meet again.

you all spend the season defending slott because your the better reds and theres "mitigating circumstances" for him even though hes been worse then roy hodgson & weve been embarrassed for nearly a year all while spending half of it on holiday but your fine watching our greatest modern day player... a man who stood n the pitch 1st game of the season in tears he was so broken by those same "mitigating circumstances" being dismantled publicly you're more angry at ticket prices going up then the public annihilation of someone who made our dreams come true you talk about how important ynwa is and what is means but it clearly only matters when you feel like it this season has shown a lot of true colours in our fanbase #lfc

@aotalksball @Bd_irB_ll This is about respecting a club legend. You don't bench him for 90 minutes straight in his last ever ucl tie for the club

Say what you want but i think benching Salah is stupid in any case in a game like this. In form or not, he's our only attacker who's experienced games like this

December 2010, Mircea Lucescu in an interview with GSP: "To die on the pitch is the most beautiful thing." — Still, have you ever thought about your last match? — Not for a second! Not even during the hard times. — Not even when you had health issues? — Health issues? I didn't even know they existed; they were just a joke to me, I paid them no mind. Ferguson and I are immortal! You don't stop to think that a measly artery might get clogged. Football is life concentrated to the absolute maximum. You don't have time for your own body; you don't even feel it, you don't notice it. The moments on the pitch are extraordinarily intense. Everything is at stake, and there’s no time for breaks. — But have you forgotten about Jock Stein? Ferguson's mentor who died on the pitch. — It’s the most beautiful thing that can happen to a coach. I would want to die on the pitch. It means you’ve gone through absolutely everything in life right there, in the heat of the battle. Rest in peace, Nea Mircea! To us, you're eternal! Lucescu in 2010, talking to GSP: "We've been on the pitch for far too long, we're too old to retire (speaking about him and Ferguson). I will never retire. Football keeps me alive. Dying on the pitch would be the greatest thing for me". 2 weeks ago, he led Romania v Turkiye.

@TheChrisLambert The thing is, i agree with your point to an extent, but i just feel like hereditary is the one where most things fell into place for him, even if the latter movies are more singular/interesting.

Beau is Afraid is actually his “best” in terms of artistry. Hereditary is excellent but it’s almost an exercise in style. Midsommar is…fine. But Beau is Afraid is an artist making the leap from “proof of concept” to full embracing his craft. Eddington is also a huge level up from the first two films. It’s fine if people prefer Hereditary/Midsommar. Aster is a compelling filmmaker. But Beau and Eddington embrace being visual literature moreso than just smartly made films by someone who wants to make visual literature.
