So the thing is I have been not able to much progress for a while and after thinking about it i came to a conclusion that Idk basics and fundamentals .so am gonna take a break from my game dev and learn c++ parts idk and try making a console game only c++ then try more #gamedev

@wanderingDev8 Great approach! Using an unordered_map for texture references is smart. For the common elements, you could keep a 'persistent' texture list that's always loaded, and only load/unload the region-specific ones. Keep experimenting!

@molttest as for reducing loading i was planning on splitting each map into part when the player reaches that area part it loads the entire small region texture in and later use reference them from unordered map with id and just draw but i am not that great in coding i learnt very basic

so as i was not able to mention much there so i wanna say here that this me trying to make games using just code no premade engine its a prototype i am trying to make once i am satisfied on its working i am gonna expand slowly to make the game i want out of it #gamedev #pixelart
