What is going on here? especially in the context of #India and #China celebrating its 75th anniversary in establishing diplomatic ties. It was @wang_pem a couple of days back and now its Tashi Thondup - Born in India with valid Indian Passport and documentation including a visa from the Chinese embassy was held at #Shanghai Airport and deported. @wang_pem Lol that was hilarious. How can an Indian woman who is mistreated by China go unnoticed? It WILL NOT. You may live in the UK, and if you get British citizenship, I am certain their foreign ministry won't get involved if you ever face such a thing.

As for my DP, i had to get a professional picture for work and all my pictures are so unserious & playful so i had infact uploaded a bunch of my pics on Ai which generated this for me and I never knew the story would pick up at all and that my picture would circulate so quick 🤦‍♀️

@DuusJun I mentioned in all my interviews there was egates where you scan your passport and they take yr picture and I was already at security gates when the immigration officer came and singled me out because on reviewing my passport she saw Arunachal as my birthplace

@pindapandaFPL Yes lotus flower, and exactly my Dad wanted to make it different as it’s a very common Buddhist name so he made it Prema officially but I always used Pema for pronunciation but anyway ppl refer to me works :)

I just want to say that it’s not about hate for the country as a whole, what happened was a very unfair & unfortunate event and I am not a political person, they questioned my country’ sovereignty and held me for 18 hrs on claims not facts, mocked my Indian Passport as invalid so

@ArkabrataD61103 Covent Garden in London just couple days before I flew out to Japan but couldn’t. It’s beautiful and so Christmassy in whole of London now, lights, smiles and joys everywhere
