Events in Ghana this week point to one clear pattern. Sammy Gyamfi enjoys strong public backing, while Agboza faces heavier criticism.
Many of the concerns now raised about the road contracts also appear, in similar or worse form, in the GoldBod contracts. Yet there was little public scrutiny at the time.
Why the silence then, and the urgency now? Why target Agboza while overlooking similar issues elsewhere?
This selective reaction raises questions about consistency and fairness. It creates the impression that one person is shielded while another is used as a scapegoat for similar concerns.

So after that viral video of the Sports Minister at the airport with some Ghanaians, the Ministry has come out to clarify. According to them: No one was sponsored. No delegation travelled with him. And the people in the video? Just random Ghanaians he met while boarding. They also insist no public funds were used for the friendlies. Now the question is… Are people convinced, or does the video still raise eyebrows? 🤫🤫🤫
