A man has sold his daughter because of severe poverty in Puntland, Somalia. A man from Puntland has been forced to sell his daughter due to worsening poverty in the region. Despite seeking help from the Puntland administration, he received no assistance. With the local government unresponsive, he now appeals to the federal government for support in selling his daughter. Why is the Puntland government ignoring this situation?
