Whom does the corruption affect negatively? Poor doesn’t care about civic sense and infrastructure, is more or less outside the taxable white money base, doesn’t chase the utopia of India becoming a First world country. He is rewarded with freebies. Rich get their job done, get power and privileges owing to corrupt system. Govt employees at right places own it all. It’s only captive middle class taxpayers who consume the dream of Development and superpower status, align with fantasies of first world standard infrastructure development, can’t evade taxation and also bear the added burden of corruption.
