The normalisation of insulting half the human race is sick. Remember too, men’s deepest desire is to be useful (above even loved)

The “manosphere” is our fault. …. A lot of people chatting about online male influencers now. After the Theroux documentary/hit piece especially. …. Few are asking why young men are seeking online help. That’s all the “manophere” is by the way - non-regime approved advice for young men. ….. Some is good. Some is bad. Some is really ugly and even dangerous yes. And a lot is just dangerous to the mainstream that HATES masculinity. …. Let’s ask why are young men looking for advice on being a man online? … Maybe… we have failed them in providing role models in mainstream media, schools and increasingly in families. … Our culture now demonises masculinity, actively discriminates against men in the workplace (especially white men) And offers no positive vision of masculinity. …. We lie to them about the nature of attraction and work. Manosphere bros can just tell half the truth and boys will see it. … Apps have trashed dating, economically young men are screwed, and culturally we have normalised hating men. … We do all this while pretending there’s a “patriarchy” and men have “privilege”. Men build and maintain the world and are hated for it. It’s a piss take. …. So yeah jobless, homeless, partner-less young men especially are angry and looking elsewhere. And yes some of those people they look too are frankly gross. …. But instead of blaming the kids, or “the internet”. Ask yourself what created young men’s desperation? Why are they ending themselves in record numbers? …. And hold your state-sponsored, big-media engineered, pearl-clutching outrage. Try empathy instead.

A new documentary is coming out Wednesday on Netflix. Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere. I just watched a trailer and I have a feeling it will be yet another negative spin on the space, focusing on flashy and opportunists rather than depth. We need more well-produced and promoted documentaries focusing on the real problems, not the symptoms with an agenda.
